PhD position on the topic „Additively manufactured multi-spectral NIR-THz sensor systems (AMUSE)“
The Terahertz Devices and Terahertz Systems Laboratory offers a doctoral position (full-time E13, 100%) initially for a limited period of 33 months with a planned start on 01.01.2023 as part of the project “Additively manufactured multi-spectral NIR-THz sensor systems (AMUSE)”, which is funded by the German Research Foundation. The project partner is the Technical University of Ostwestfalen-Lippe. The subject of the research activities is the development of additively manufactured sensor elements, which are read both at a wavelength around 1550nm and in the terahertz frequency range (100 GHz-10 THz).
PhD position on the topic „ ErAs:In(Al)GaAs-based Photoconductive Terahertz Device Arrays”
The Terahertz devices and systems laboratory offers a position (full time, E13, 100%) yet limited to a duration of 36 months with a targeted starting date of November 1st 2022 in the framework of the SFB/TRR 196 “MARIE”, project C07 and partially M01 (https://trrmarie.de/sfbtrr196marie/). The research topic are arrays of photoconductive materials based on ErAs:In(Al)GaAs for generation and detection of THz radiation (100 GHz-10 THz).
