We are pleased to announce the 15th Terahertz Young Scientists Meeting, which will be held from August 13 to 15, 2025, at Aalto University, Espoo, Finland, in collaboration with the Technical University of Darmstadt and with the generous support of the German Terahertz Center (Deutsches Terahertzzentrum e.V.).
This annual gathering has become a cornerstone event for early-career researchers in the terahertz community, offering a platform for master’s and PhD students to showcase their work, connect with peers, and contribute to the vibrant discourse surrounding terahertz science and technology. From groundbreaking experiments to meticulous simulations, we welcome research across the broad spectrum of terahertz applications – pun fully intended.
The meeting fosters an open and collegial environment, encouraging participants to present their research through oral and poster contributions. Beyond the technical sessions, the event is designed to promote intellectual exchange, collaboration, and cross-pollination of ideas in both fundamental and applied terahertz research. It's not just about the science – it’s about the scientists, too.
As a timely bonus, the conference will be held immediately preceding the 50th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz), also at Aalto University.
