From August 13 to 15, 2025, we are organizing the 15th Terahertz Young Scientists Meeting at Aalto University, Espoo, Finland together with Technical University of Darmstadt– supported by the German Terahertz Center (Deutsches Terahertzzentrum e.V.).
Terahertz technology has proven to be a valuable tool for applications in science as well as in measurement and testing technology. The conference »15th Terahertz Young Scientists Meeting«. is aimed at all master students and PhD students in the field of terahertz research. The aim of the workshop is to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience between young scientists, in this exciting and rapidly developing field of research.
Therefore, the event has established itself as an annual meeting that offers young terahertz researchers the opportunity to present their work in a friendly and international atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to actively contribute to the conference through oral or poster presentations on their own research.
In addition, the event promotes the exchange of ideas, thoughts and developments in both fundamental and applied terahertz research.
The conference will take place directly before the 50th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz) at Aalto University, Finland.
