Research

The THz devices and systems lab develops sensitive, room temperature operating Terahertz detectors, powerful Terahertz sources and systems constructed thereof. A particular focus lies on photonic technology, like photomixers and photoconductors, as well as the laser technology to operate them. We further carry out a variety of applications, including imaging and spectroscopy. rectifying Terahertz detectors, combination of both in Terahertz systems as well as their applications in Terahertz science.
